Found in a variety of styles, Christian clothing makes for the perfect gift for just about anyone including the unsaved. At first, they might not understand the message and the gift they are being given, but with time, the word always prevails! Sow the seed of the word of God and give a thoughtful gift at the same time. Here are some tips on helping you select your gift of faith for the non-believer in your life!
T-shirts are common gifts for the unbeliever. Because the shirts can be used at a variety of events and can be found in styles that appeal to just about anyone, t-shirts make an excellent choice as a gift for the unsaved. Find inspiring and motivating designs on both short and long sleeved styles. Find cool baby tees and hoodies for a more fashionable statement.
Select messages of faith that your recipient can connect with. Many times, scripture is just too bold for a non-believer to relate to. That doesn’t mean that you can’t incorporate scripture into your gift; it just means that you might need to tone down your excitement for God. Messages that speak of love, grace, peace, joy are great for just about any female. Also consider selecting based on the design of the apparel rather than just written words.
If clothing is too bold, consider giving accessories. Sometimes, the very thought of displaying or wearing something that is not necessarily our beliefs is out of the question. Especially for the youth generation where style and message is everything and you could easily be labeled just by wearing the wrong attire. If this is the concern of your recipient, consider selecting items such as wallets, handbags, backpacks, caps, or even jewelry as gifts.
Release the fear that your gift won’t be received well. Do you believe that your gift will be received well? Many times we find ourselves second guessing whether we’ve made the right choice to be bold about our faith and sharing it with others. We’ve got to give that fear to Jesus and not hold on to thoughts of that fear. We we’re created to be bold about the word of God and there are more ways to do that than giving a t-shirt with a scripture on it.
Selecting a gift of faith for your unsaved friend or family member is a demonstration of the love you have for that person. Not only that, but it is also a demonstration of the love that God has for that person. Taking the time to choose a well-thought gift will be received well by your recipient and bless their lives!
