God speaks to our hearts in so many different ways. He can come across in a Sunday service or on a television program, but He can also come across in regular conversation, through a book and even through the clothing we wear. It’s amazing to see the lengths that God will go to in order to capture our heart. Faith is the inspiration for Christian clothing. Through it, we begin to see or get reminded of God’s love and forgiveness for our lives. Valuable not only to the wearer, it can also raise the faith in someone else’s heart so that they too can experience the miracle working power of God in their own lives! Wearing Christian clothing is a powerful way for the word to become alive for the user as well as for the viewer.
Faith in Christian clothing speaks of God’s love for us. He wants us to know the breadth, the depth, the width, and height of His love for us that we might be empowered to grasp a glimmer of understanding that we are valuable to Him. It takes faith to wear clothing that speaks of His love, but it also opens doors in the hearts of those who view our shirts by faith. Once the door of love is opened in our hearts, He can freely come in to heal us and begin the process of restoring our lives! We can begin the process of learning and practicing living the way God intended for us to live.
Faith in Christian clothing speaks of God’s forgiveness He has given to us. Forgiveness is the foundation of Christianity. Using Christian clothing, this message of forgiveness can be used within the church as well as taken outside the church so that just about anyone can experience the touch of God in their life. Both the wearer and the viewer of the clothing can begin to experience and understand the price Jesus paid and what He did at Calvary for us so that we might have life and life more abundantly.
Faith is the ultimate inspiration for Christian clothing. Speaking of love and forgiveness, God uses Christian clothing as a way to reach our heart. Even though the messages are short and simple, we can still begin to experience the miracle working power of God in our lives! God makes sure we are well cared for no matter what our circumstances might be; no matter how close or far we might be from Him. God always finds a way to reach our hearts so that by faith, we can overcome just about anything!
